Class Descriptions

Gentle - If you are brand new to yoga or prefer a slower pace, a gentle yoga class is the one for you.  A slow and gentle warm up of all the joints, combined with attention to deep breathing and modified strengthening postures will help you release stress and discomfort and increase energy and ease.

Yoga Core - Practical practice for unwinding tension and strengthening core and postural muscles.  Emphasis on mind-body-breath integration.

Slow Yoga - Open to all levels, this class combines basic mindfulness techniques with slow moving yoga. This meditative class will invite a deep connection to self and profound stress relief.

Vinyasa - Sweat your stress away!  Some yoga experience necessary.  Expect a mix of flow and long holds and core work in an upbeat meditative atmosphere.

Class Levels

The Gentle and Slow Yoga classes are for any level including first time and experienced students.

Level I - Level I classes are an open level class for beginners and up. The pace is moderate, not gentle.

Level II - Level II classes are an open level class for ambitious beginners and up.  These classes build on the basics of level I and challenge students in terms of longer holds and optional intermediate postures. 

Vinyasa Level II is for students who have some yoga experience and are looking for a yoga workout.  Lots of flow, long holds and little instruction.  Expect to sweat.
